Features
Folder Sharing You can share any number of folders on your Mac, content is scanned and organised under music, movies and pictures. Additionally, you can tell MMS to include a "Folders" container on your media client which will contain all content.
iTunes Sharing MMS can share your entire iTunes library, or just the playlists you want. By default it automatically ignores DRM encoded content as most devices cannot play it. The good news is that almost all music purchased on iTunes store is no longer DRM protected.
iPhoto Sharing With MMS, you can easily view your iPhoto Albums on any UPNP compatible device, working well with both the PS3 and Xbox360 as well and many other devices and clients.
Transcoding Transcoding converts content on the fly to a format the client device understands. Currently MMS can transcode video files for the PS3, and audio files for the XBox360. Other devices may also benifit from transcoding, and MMS can be set to transcode for all devices.
